The GelBand© Patella Strap contains a viscoelastic insert that provides consistent and focused compression over either the patellar or quad tendon. The compression of the strap decreases stress and/or overload on the knee. It also increases stabilization of the tendon resulting in improved patellar tracking and improves alignment of the patello-femoral joint. HOW TO APPLY: Stand or sit with leg straight. Undo one side of strap. Place the front portion of the strap just below or above the kneecap at the natural indentation. Feed strap through loop and fasten. Adjust both sides at once for a conforming fit. Loosen slightly if too tight. SIZING: Measure around the kneecap. Size Fits Knees Universal 11-18
